"The Cirrus video is truly wonderful - one of the best clips ever made from our material." - Rick Prelinger

From the artist Cyriak: "A music video I made for the Bonobo track ‘Cirrus’. It uses clips from a 1962 film about the wonders of consumerism. ...the footage I used was downloaded from archive.org, it really is a goldmine for us video artists."

Subject: What A Revelation!
I am in awe. Wonderfully entertaining and thought-provoking. A totally original, profoundly compelling work of art. Thank you so much for making it available for free.

Subject: Well Done
My thanks go out to the previous reviewer, for bringing this clip to my attention.
There is a considerable proportion of modernistic art that exists simply for it's own sake. I understand the concept, and there are many fine examples to be had of this philosophy. However I personally have a general preference for art that attempts to have some sort of message to ponder, or has a connection of some sort to sociological matters, as this clip does.
It is very well put together; the choices and uses of the clips, is excellent. while visually very active, it refrains from feeling overly frenetic, and moves along at a nice pace.
The chosen soundtrack, well suits the imagery, without overwhelming it.
This is very well done, indeed.

Subject: Fantastic music video, and one that uses Prelinger footage well
I can not stop rewatching this. It is a wonderful recasting of commercialism and consumerism.
